1971 – DEKALB Research was formed
 
1976 – Newsham UK was established

1987 – Newsham Hybrids commenced gene sampling project in the U.S.

1990 – Newsham Hybrids established in U.S.

1992 – DEKALB imported genetics from JSR Healthbred, Ltd. and France Hybrids

1997 – Newsham starts Gentel^® group selection technique

1998 – DEKALB Swine Breeders purchased by Monsanto Company and becomes Monsanto Choice Genetics

2002 – Monsanto Choice Genetics focus on molecular marker-assisted selection

2002 – Current ownership group acquires Newsham Hybrids to form Newsham Genetics

2006 – Newsham Genetics acquired AusGene International, LLC

2007 – Newsham Genetics acquired Monsanto Choice Genetics

2008 – Name changed to Newsham Choice Genetics
